Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

All electronics and home appliances sold by Al Shabib are covered under warranty based on the final purchase price paid by the customer (after discounts):

  • Products priced below QAR 50 include a 1-year warranty
  • Products priced QAR 50 and above include a 2-year warranty

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery.

Products may be covered by either a manufacturer warranty or a seller warranty provided by Al Shabib or its authorized supplier. The applicable warranty type will be stated on the invoice.


2. What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use, including:

  • Hardware or internal component failures
  • Factory defects affecting product performance
  • Functional issues caused by manufacturing faults

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

  • Physical damage, drops, or accidents
  • Misuse, improper handling, or negligence
  • Liquid or water damage (unless the product is explicitly rated as water-resistant)
  • Power surges, voltage fluctuations, or improper electrical connections
  • Unauthorized repair, tampering, or modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Consumable items (e.g., batteries, filters, bulbs, accessories), unless explicitly stated
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

4. 7-Day Return & Exchange Policy

Customers may request a refund or exchange within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  • The request must be made within 7 days from the date of delivery
  • The product may be opened and tested, but must not show signs of extended use
  • The product must be in original condition, with no damage, scratches, or signs of misuse
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories
  • Proof of purchase is required

Return or exchange requests can be made:

If a product is found to be defective within 7 days, it will be eligible for replacement or exchange after inspection.

After 7 days, all items are covered under the standard warranty policy and are not eligible for refund or exchange.


5. Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty service, customers must:

  1. Email support@alshabib.com with:
    • Order number
    • Product details
    • Description of the issue
  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
  3. Follow the instructions provided by our support team

Products may be subject to inspection by Al Shabib or an authorized service center before approval.


6. Service & Logistics

Warranty and return services may be handled through:

  • Al Shabib retail store
  • Authorized service centers
  • Pickup and return service arranged by Al Shabib

For return and warranty requests:

  • Orders delivered by Al Shabib (online purchases) may be eligible for pickup collection arranged by our team
  • Products purchased directly from our physical store must be returned to the store by the customer

Transportation or shipping costs may apply unless the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect.


7. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty validity, customers must:

  • Use products according to manufacturer instructions
  • Retain proof of purchase
  • Avoid unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Ensure proper installation and safe electrical use

Failure to comply may void the warranty.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Al Shabib is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product use.


9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
